Performance Career

My career so far has included many opportunities for soloistic and ensemble musicianship. Starting in High School, I noticed an affinity for tuba performance eventually leading to performing with Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, subbing for Greater Boulder Youth Orchestra, and being an All-State and CU Honor Band player. My major musical experiences begin here and quickly accelerated once I attended college.

In my Freshman Year I was apart of the CU Symphonic Band and spent much of my time preparing for ensembles and competitions. Success here pushed me to other achievements, such as spending the summer of 2019 attending the Eastern Music Festival Euphonium Tuba Institute and the Rafael Mendez Brass Institute in 2019 and 2020. I have performed with the Mormon Orchestra and Chorale during their Easter production of “The Lamb of God” and have been a runner up for the Longmont Symphony Position. I am currently a part of the CU Wind Symphony and the Colorado Brass. My teachers are Steve Vaughn and James Michael Dunn.
